Job summary

Creative Support is seeking a warm, compassionate Senior Extra Care Support Worker to deliver person-centred care to our services users in Hattersley, Tameside, in a brand-new over-55s independent living scheme.

The role involves working on a roster with evenings, weekends and sleep-ins, supporting access to work, education and social opportunities while fostering a respectful, empowering atmosphere alongside families and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caring for vulnerable adults is essential.
• Previous experience in services for older people, people with dementia and memory loss is essential.
• Gender is considered to be an occupational requirement – Equality Act 2010

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and domestic support to service users in Hattersley, Tameside.
• Assist the Management Team in delivering an empowering service and collaborate with families and friends.
• Work on a roster including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins; support access to work, education and social opportunities.
