Job summary

ASOS is seeking an Experimentation Senior Product Manager to lead the end-to-end experimentation capability, ensuring robust governance, metrics and platform strategy across Product, Engineering and Analytics.

You will drive adoption of advanced methodologies, own the Optimizely platform, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, data-driven decisions that shape our ecommerce roadmap.

Qualifications

• Experience running experimentation programs at scale across multiple teams.
• Proficient in frequentist and Bayesian approaches.
• Ability to design primary, secondary and guardrail metrics.
• Ownership of an enterprise experimentation platform (Optimizely).
• Understanding of data pipelines, event validation and metric certification.
• Experience defining standards, launch gates and quality processes.
• Experience managing strategic software vendor relationships.
• Ability to present to Director level and translate issues to business impact.
• Background in statistics, mathematics, economics or related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the experimentation vision, strategy and roadmap.
• Enforce experimentation standards and review upcoming experiments.
• Own the measurement strategy and drive statistical validity improvements.
• Drive adoption of advanced methodologies and partner with analytics teams.
• Own Optimizely platform strategy, health and vendor relationships.
• Design AI-enabled experimentation workflows with governance.
• Improve experiment data quality and integration with ADE.
• Define standard workflows, gates and rollout decision frameworks.
• Run the Experimentation Forum and Champion network, train PMs.
• Define KPIs and report programme performance to senior leadership.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Trade and Data.
• Champion quasi-experimental methods and build a playbook.
• Develop frameworks to measure financial impact of experiments.
