THE.TEAM is seeking a Senior Manager, Client Services to lead on a supermarket brand across the country. The role is hybrid, based in London and Orpington, and is a 12-month maternity cover contract.

You will manage client relationships, shape strategic platforms, lead budgets and on-site activations, and drive high-quality project delivery while mentoring an Account Executive and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage senior relationship with the client and day-to-day management.
  • Maintain reporting with client and brand stakeholders; internal updates.
  • Interpret briefs; shape strategic and creative platforms.
  • Lead brainstorms and shape ideas using industry knowledge.
  • Deliver well-written presentations with strong narrative.
  • Manage projects; ensure systems and procedures are in place.
  • Plan and deliver activations; manage budgets and admin.
  • Control client budgets, pricing, profits and payments.
  • Coordinate venue selection and H&S paperwork.
  • Coordinate staffing, suppliers and third parties.
  • Develop timelines, reports, and schedules for projects.
  • Ensure contract terms are understood and met; monitor KPIs.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support renewals.
  • Lead by example; maintain high-quality standards.
  • Line manage an Account Executive; mentor and develop them.

The Senior Manager, Client Services role sits within our Brand Experience Division at THE.TEAM, working on a Supermarket brand to deliver multiple experiences up and down the country. As a senior member of the team, you will lead on the project planning of events from start to finish - from strategy, client presentations, budgeting and feasibility through to event management - always striving to create best in class brand experiences.

This will be a hybrid working role, working from both our London and Orpington offices, and is a 12 month maternity cover contract.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Development and management of your own senior relationship with the client, and day-to-day client management.
  • Maintaining good communication and reporting, externally with the client and all relevant brand stakeholders, and internally within THE.TEAM and the wider group.
  • Understanding and developing the client's project briefs and contributing thinking to shape strategic and creative platforms.
  • Steering brainstorms, being creative and shaping ideas, calling on your industry knowledge.
  • Delivering well written presentations, in both content and narrative.
  • Project management, ensuring project systems and procedures are set up and structured correctly.
  • Planning and delivering projects, overseeing on-site activations, creating and managing budgets, and handling project administration.
  • Day to day financial control of client budgets – including pricing, profit, budget approvals and payments.
  • Managing venue selection and booking, ensuring all Health & Safety and other paperwork is in place, and continuously reviewed and updated in line with THE.TEAM's H&S processes.
  • Co-ordinating and managing staffing partners, production suppliers and any other third parties engaged for the delivery of projects.
  • Development and management of project timelines, and maintaining project reports, job sheets and schedules.
  • Ensuring contract terms are understood, monitored and met, and that the account team continues to deliver a high-quality service against agreed contract KPIs.
  • KPI setting and campaign evaluation, to include KPIs, key learnings and robust case studies.
  • Development of additional business opportunities within the client account, including identification of new business opportunities and ongoing contract renewal.
  • Leading by example: setting standards and ensuring best practice and high quality of work.
  • Line management of an Account Executive, providing day-to-day guidance, support and development.
  • Internal Communications Building strong relationships and fostering good team spirit internally and amongst client teams.
  • Drawing upon experience from across THE.TEAM where relevant, to optimise the quality of work provided on the account.
  • Financial Accountability Identifying incremental business opportunities.
  • Proactively seeking ways to grow the account by becoming an ambassador of THE.TEAM's services, so they are front of mind when opportunities present themselves.
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:
  • Experiential / Live events experience knowledge, both planning and on site.
  • Excellent Account Management skills.
  • Excellent planning and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence decision making processes, both within the Agency and the client organisation.
  • Ability to multi-task; you will be working across a number of activations with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to think on your feet and take appropriate actions to resolve any unforeseen issues as they arise.
  • Ability to enthuse and motivate others.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyse project performance and provide confident structured feedback.
  • Financial and budget management.
  • Presentation skills (both writing and delivery), internally and to clients / suppliers including use of Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written - and attention to detail.
  • Creative thinking - the ability to come up with forward thinking experiential ideas.
