Job summary

Itchyfeet Recruitment Agency in Jersey seeks an experienced Senior Executive Recruiter to join our friendly team. You will manage recruitment from first conversations to placement, across permanent, temporary and contract roles, from entry-level to executive appointments.

You will source candidates via ATS, networking platforms and referrals, coordinate interviews, and support offers through to start date while building client relationships and spotting new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous recruitment experience is essential, ideally with 6 years.
• Experience within financial services recruitment is valuable.
• Strong relationship-building and client-satisfaction focus.

Your role

You will manage recruitment from initial conversations through to placement and beyond, supporting candidates and clients across permanent, temporary and contract opportunities, from entry-level to executive appointments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Getting to know candidates, understanding their experience, ambitions and priorities, and identifying suitable opportunities.
• Providing practical support with CVs, interview preparation and career decisions.
• Building and developing client relationships, understanding their company goals, culture, team structure and recruitment needs.
• Working with clients to understand the skills, experience and personal qualities needed for each appointment.
• Sourcing and matching candidates through our applicant tracking system (ATS), professional networking platforms and referrals.
• Preparing candidate submissions and obtaining consent before sharing CVs with clients.
• Coordinating interviews, gathering feedback and keeping candidates and clients informed.
• Managing offers, negotiating salary and benefit packages, and supporting candidates through to their start date.
• Following up with candidates and clients after placements to ensure the appointment is working well for both.
• Identifying new business opportunities and sharing relevant insights on recruitment trends, salary expectations and candidate availability.
• Maintaining accurate candidate, client and vacancy records.
• Promoting opportunities through professional networking platforms, social media and relevant events.
• Working closely with colleagues, sharing knowledge and supporting recruitment activity across the team.

About you

Previous recruitment experience is essential, ideally with 6 years, or more . You will bring a personal approach and a commitment to excellent service. Experience within financial services recruitment would be particularly valuable.
