The School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences based at St Thomas' hospital is looking for a highly motivated and experienced executive assistant to provide high-level, professional secretarial and administrative support to the Assistant Principal (Innovation) / Head of School and the Senior Leadership in the School.
About The Role
This role will focus on ensuring the efficient and effective running of the office by supporting the senior leadership to function to the highest standard, assisting their work with internal and external stakeholders and providing excellent personal support. We are looking for candidates who have significant experience working with senior executive leaders providing efficient diary management, secretarial and administrative support in a Higher Education setting. The role holder will also work collaboratively with other staff within the Schools Professional Services Office and undertake duties that contribute to the operational efficiency of the wider School.
Ideally you will be educated to degree level or have substantial relevant experience, and experience providing high-level administrative and personal support, using a range of IT software packages including Office. Excellent communication and influencing skills, including excellent spoken and written English, organising events, servicing formal committees and meetings and proven ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
This is a full-time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract for 2 years. The post holder will be expected to be on campus full time.
