Job summary

Sonata Software is seeking a highly experienced Exchange Hybrid Engineer to manage Exchange Online and on-premises environments within a hybrid enterprise. You will design, implement and support hybrid messaging, mail flow, and related security policies while partnering with customers to resolve complex issues.

The role emphasizes enterprise SharePoint architecture, administration, troubleshooting, migration, and strong customer-facing communication in English.

Qualifications

15–20 years of overall IT experience.
Solid Exchange Online and Exchange On-Premises experience.
Proven experience with Exchange Hybrid environments.
Active SC Security Clearance is required.
Excellent English communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Administer Exchange Server 2016/2019 and Exchange Online.
Design, implement and maintain Exchange Hybrid environments.
Configure and troubleshoot HCW, hybrid mail flow and secure mail routing.
Manage DAGs, mailbox databases, transport services and connectors.
Troubleshoot mail flow, Autodiscover, Outlook connectivity and authentication.
Manage Exchange Online mailboxes and groups; apply retention and compliance policies.
Support EOP and Defender for Office 365; migrate mail between on-premises and online.
Configure SPF/DKIM/DMARC; use PowerShell for automation.
