Job summary

QinetiQ Limited is seeking a Senior EW Countermeasures Engineer to support the Belgian Joint Electronic Warfare Support Centre (JEWSC) and deliver sovereign countermeasure capabilities for the Belgium MOD. You will work across Defence programs, ensuring effective defence against current and emerging threats.

You will collaborate with Countermeasure and C-UAS specialists, Analytical teams, and Mission Data practitioners to optimise capability performance and transfer knowledge to maintain

Qualifications

• Experience in development, optimisation, testing and validation of defensive Countermeasures.
• Knowledge of NATO EW standards and interoperability.
• Ability to conduct threat assessments and vulnerability analyses.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist expertise in Countermeasures, Electronic Warfare and Defensive Aids Systems (DAS).
• Conduct threat assessments and capability studies related to EM threats and countermeasure effectiveness.
• Support development, optimisation and validation of Mission Data for countermeasure systems.
• Support test, evaluation and experimentation environments development and operation.
• Analyse test data and offer technical recommendations to improve capability effectiveness.
• Mentor Belgium MOD personnel and support knowledge transfer to develop sovereign capability.
