Job summary

Raffles London OWO is seeking a Meetings and Events Operations Manager to oversee daily operations during service periods, ensuring guest expectations are exceeded. You will coordinate events, lead preservice briefings, and work with planners, sales, and clients to handle changes and requests while meeting time-sensitive targets.

You will collaborate with planning, kitchen, bar, and events teams to ensure perfection in guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to create and manage a department with a positive culture.
• Plan team tasks in line with client requirements.
• Fully conversant with Microsoft Office.
• Proven track record delivering high service levels under pressure.
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
• Willingness to support a 24h operational schedule when required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all operating equipment is in good working order.
• Monitor staffing levels to deliver guest experience while following guidelines.
• Provide supplies, equipment and uniforms to staff.
• Coordinate floor plans and Banquet Event Orders with Planning and Sales.
• Promote sales opportunities within the department and liaise with clients.
• Lead pre-service team briefings and maintain clear communication across departments.
• Be the first point of contact to clients and ensure queries are resolved.
