Job summary

Hearst UK is seeking an Events Operations Manager for Country Living events to ensure live and virtual experiences run smoothly and reflect the Hearst brand. You’ll manage stakeholder relationships, coordinate with third‑party operators and hosts, and oversee onsite activations and budgets.

The role requires strong operations, vendor management, and communication skills, with extended periods away from home and a UK driving license. In-person collaboration at the London office is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety laws and policies.
• Understanding of events industry and event preparation.
• Impeccable communication and relationship-building with stakeholders.
• Excellent numerical ability with budget tracking.
• Full clean UK drivers license.
• Flexible with extended periods away from home.
• Interest in championing small businesses within the sector.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key contact for Country Living events and respond to internal/external queries.
• Coordinate with event organisers and third-party contractors for smooth events.
• Attend meetings, monitor progress, and propose improvements.
• Be onsite as Hearst’s representative and manage partner experience.
• Oversee onsite activations, budgeting and partner communications.
• Support content delivery and sponsor/licensing activations.
• Research events and gather feedback to drive quality improvements.
