COREcruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Event Manager to lead a marquee hospitality project in Oxfordshire. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, manage budgets, and coordinate culinary, logistics and staffing teams to ensure flawless execution.

You will source and manage external suppliers, set timelines, and provide regular updates to clients. The role requires strong operational experience in large outdoor events with a proven ability to work collaboratively and adapt to tasting sessions, site

Job description

My client is a specialist Events Business seeking an experienced Senior Event Manager to join their team. You will be taking the lead on one of their largest projects with full end to end management of large scale hospitality and catering, as well as supporting on a number of other events throughout the year. We are looking for an individual with excellent operational experience within greenfield events and a strong food and drink background.

Responsibilities:

• Fully project lead your event and be the key client contact
• Operational planning working alongside culinary, logistics and staffing teams
• Overall event delivery including set up, build, and break down
• Source, book and manage external suppliers
• Manage and set project timelines and milestones, ensuring project remains on target
• Fully accountable for budget management
• Manage the team and the client with regular event updates and project planning meetings
• Event invoicing and reconciliation

The Ideal candidate:

• Strong operational experience from a food and drink background
• Experience within large-scale, outdoor events
• Ability to work well in a team
• Strong experience in organising logistics for large scale events
• Flexibility for working on events, tastings, site visits etc
