Job summary

3M Senior Product Stewardship Engineer at the UK HQ in Bracknell, Berkshire will translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance and lead the daily compliance task of approving new products for the UK and EU markets.

You will collaborate with internal and external customers within the EMEA Product Stewardship team, monitor regulatory changes, and contribute to digital transformation and data quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of EU and UK product compliance requirements.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree, technical (e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental, Material Science, etc.)
• Experience in product stewardship or regulatory compliance preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate regulations into practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex product compliance requirements into clear, practical guidance.
• Approve new 3M products for UK and EU market with compliant documentation.
• Manage regulatory inquiries with internal and external customers in the EMEA Product Stewardship team.
• Drive digital transformation to improve workflows, data quality, automation, and regulatory information management.
• Prepare and maintain product compliance documentation (declarations, regulatory statements, responses, records).
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess product impacts to share insights with business teams.
