Job description

Our client, a commodity trading firm, is looking for an ETD Operations Analyst to join their team in Worcester.

Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of exchange-traded derivatives, resolving discrepancies according to established procedures.
2. Monitoring open exceptions across systems and clearing them within defined timelines.
3. Maintaining and validating standing data for all derivative products, ensuring correct application of clearing and execution fees.
4. Generating management reports and operational statistics to support performance tracking.
5. Identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting workflow enhancements.

Required experience:

• At least 5 years in operations, trade support, or reconciliation roles.
• Experience with ETD products like futures, options, swaps, and CFDs.
• Understanding of clearing, settlement, and margin processes.
• Experience interacting with Exchanges, Clearing Houses, and Brokers.
• Background in trading environments, preferably in energy or commodities sectors, with exposure to traders and commercial teams.
