Job Description:

Our client, a commodity trading firm, is looking for an ETD Operations Analyst to join their team in London.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of exchange-traded derivatives, resolving discrepancies per established procedures.
• Monitoring open exceptions across systems and clearing them within defined timelines.
• Maintaining and validating standing data for derivative products and confirming correct application of clearing and execution fees.
• Generating management reports and operational statistics for performance tracking.
• Identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting workflow, control, and contingency plan enhancements.

Required experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations, trade support, or reconciliation roles.
• Experience with ETD products like futures, options, swaps, and CFDs.
• Understanding of clearing, settlement, and margin processes.
• Proven experience interacting with Exchanges, Clearing Houses, and Brokers.
• Experience in a trading environment, preferably in energy or commodities, with exposure to traders and commercial teams.
