Job Description:

Our client, a commodity trading firm, is looking for an ETD Operations Analyst to join their team in Wakefield.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of exchange-traded derivatives, resolving discrepancies according to procedures.
• Monitoring open exceptions across systems and clearing them within designated timelines.
• Maintaining and validating derivative product data, ensuring correct application of clearing and execution fees.
• Generating management reports and operational statistics for performance tracking.
• Identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting workflow enhancements.

You will need:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in operations, trade support, or reconciliation roles.
• Experience with ETD products such as futures, options, swaps, and CFDs.
• Understanding of clearing, settlement, and margin processes.
• Experience working with Exchanges, Clearing Houses, and Brokers.
• Experience in a trading environment, preferably in energy or commodities sectors, with exposure to traders and commercial teams.
