Job Description:

Our client, a commodity trading firm, is looking for an ETD Operations Analyst to join their team in Liverpool.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of exchange-traded derivatives, resolving discrepancies according to procedures.
2. Monitoring open exceptions across systems and clearing them within the defined timelines.
3. Maintaining and validating standing data for all derivative products and confirming accurate application of clearing and execution fees.
4. Generating management reports and operational statistics for performance tracking.
5. Identifying and supporting process improvements in workflows, controls, and contingency plans.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations, trade support, or reconciliation roles.
2. Experience with ETD products such as futures, options, swaps, and CFDs.
3. Understanding of clearing, settlement, and margin processes.
4. Experience interacting with Exchanges, Clearing Houses, and Brokers.
5. Experience in a trading environment within energy or commodities sectors, with exposure to traders and commercial teams.
