Job summary
Quinn Quest Talent is seeking a Senior Estimator for a dynamic retail display business in Central London. The role covers developing accurate, competitive estimates for complex projects across metalwork, joinery, plastics and print.
Hybrid/remote work options apply; you will partner with commercial, sales, sourcing and production teams, interpret drawings and BOMs, and drive value engineering to win tenders and ensure smooth project handover.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail display, POS, shopfitting, fixtures.
- Knowledge of metalwork, joinery, plastics and print.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Experience with suppliers and production teams.
- Strong Excel and estimating/ERP system experience.
Responsibilities
- Own estimating process from brief to tender submission.
- Produce detailed, cost estimates that are accurate and competitive.
- Work with commercial, sales, sourcing and production teams.
- Interpret drawings, specifications and BOMs.
- Liaise with suppliers to validate costs and lead times.
- Identify cost risks, opportunities and value engineering.
- Support tender strategies with scenario costing and margin analysis.
- Ensure smooth handover from estimating to delivery.
- Develop and improve estimating processes, tools and methodologies.
