Job summary

Randstad CPE in Central London is seeking an experienced Estimator for commercial and high-end residential fit‑out projects. You will price luxury schemes, coordinate joinery and M&E packages, and prepare robust tenders for the Principal Contractor role.

The role requires first-principles estimation, strong Excel and estimating software skills, and a track record of delivering accurate cost plans from tender drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven portfolio of pricing and winning commercial and residential projects (£500k–£5m+).
• Strong career history with stable tenure and team integration.
• Deep knowledge of high-end fit-out, refurbishment and joinery pricing.
• Proficient in estimating software (ConEst, CauseWay, Bluebeam) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• First-principles estimating: produce detailed cost estimates from tender drawings and specs.
• Issue tender packages to supply chain, analyze returns, negotiate rates.
• Take-offs and bills of quantities with precision.
• Identify risks and value engineering opportunities during bids.
• Present bids to senior management and handover on winning.
