Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join its Work Winning team on major water and civil engineering projects across the UK. You'll lead the preparation of accurate, competitive estimates, own pricing from early opportunity through tender submission, and work closely with pre-construction, engineering and commercial teams to secure winning bids.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior estimator/estimator roles within Tier 1 or major infrastructure contractors.
• Strong civil engineering background.
• Experience on water, utilities, infrastructure or major civils projects.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies and buildability.
• Deep knowledge of risk, pricing and commercial principles.
• Experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary tenders.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proactive, commercially minded approach with a desire to win work.

• Lead the preparation of estimates for major civil and water projects.
• Own pricing from early opportunity through tender submission.
• Develop detailed and commercially robust estimates.
• Review methodologies, build-ups, risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, commercial and operations teams.
• Coordinate estimating activities across complex tenders.
• Challenge assumptions and identify competitive improvements.
• Support winning strategies and value-engineered solutions.
• Present estimates and pricing strategies to senior stakeholders.
