C&P Recruitment is assisting a growing civil engineering contractor in the Perthshire area to appoint a Senior Estimator / Commercial Manager. The role involves leading estimating and commercial activities, with client liaison, procurement, site visits and project delivery to help grow profitability.

The successful candidate will have strong estimating experience, NEC4 contract knowledge, and a civil engineering background or broad commercial experience seeking a sector change.

Job description

A growing civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Estimator / Commercial Manager to take a lead role within the business in the Perthshire area.

With a strong pipeline of work, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator looking to step into a broader commercial position, or an existing Commercial Manager looking for greater autonomy.

You will have involvement across estimating, commercial management, client liaison, procurement, site visits and project delivery, with the opportunity to have a real impact on the growth and profitability of the business.

The successful candidate will have a excellent estimating experience and knowledge of NEC4 contracts, ideally you will come from a civil engineering background, but would be open to those with strong commercial experience overall looking for a change of sector.

There is also some junior members of the team, so this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys developing others and wants to take ownership of the commercial function.
