Job summary

AWE is seeking an experienced specialist to join the Project Deliver team as an Estimator. You will drive clarity and control across a broad portfolio, turning data into insight and partnering with senior colleagues to shape major UK projects.

You will bring expertise in estimating, cost planning, and commercial awareness, and engage in CPD and professional body activities to uphold standards. Hybrid working is available with a 9-day fortnight and generous leave provisions.

Qualifications

• Background in Estimating, cost engineering, Quantity Surveying, Commercial, Cost planning.
• Experience in Stakeholder management with ability to collaborate at senior levels.
• Education in engineering, technical, or management fields or proven experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of complex cost estimates for given scope and approach.
• Provide estimating input to performance reporting, risk and change assessments.
• Write estimate plans, assemble data, and document bases with assumptions.
• Lead, coach and develop a team and influence others in project and portfolio planning.
• Support project/programme/portfolio teams and drive continuous improvement.
