Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead pricing and securing major water sector projects. You will produce accurate, competitive estimates for high-value civil engineering and water infrastructure bids and work with stakeholders across disciplines to win work.

The role focuses on ensuring robust commercial bids, managing risk, and delivering high-quality estimates for complex water infrastructure schemes.

Qualifications

• Proven estimating experience within a Tier 1 contractor or major infrastructure environment.
• Strong civil engineering knowledge, ideally gained through water, utilities, infrastructure or major project delivery.
• A strong understanding of construction methodologies, risk management and commercial principles.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• The ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working on complex, multi-disciplinary bids and tenders.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach with a passion for winning work.
