Job summary

Cotech Building Careers is assisting a tier one contractor in recruiting a Senior Estimator for the next step in your career. You will lead pre-construction activities, coordinate with bid teams and manage resources for multi-disciplinary projects (£10m–£40m) from inception to site setup, reporting to the Business Unit Director.

Candidates should be in a senior role, have a demonstrable track record in work-winning and Tier 1 environments, and hold at least an HNC.

Qualifications

• This opportunity seeks a Senior Estimator with a proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary pre-construction activities and work-winning in a tier one environment.
• Experience managing medium-size projects (£10m–£40m) from inception to site setup in a collaborative bid team is essential.
• Qualified to at least HNC standard with ability to advise and lead Project Management and Commercial teams.

Requirements

This opportunity is for a Senior Estimator, likely to have been in a Senior role for the last few years, and keen to join a business with future potential to take responsibility for a team. You will have experience in managing multi disciplinary construction projects if medium size (£10m - £40m) and all associated activities from inception to site setup, working with the Bid Technical, commercial & Project Management teams.

You will be responsible for all aspects of pre construction leadership, teamwork, management of resources and contract negotiations, reporting to the business unit Director.

You will be qualified to at least HNC standard and have a demonstrable track record of work winning and technical competency in a tier one environment.
