Job summary

Carter Jonas is seeking an ambitious Estates Manager/Land Agent to advise a private and institutional client base in Northampton. You will support growth of the rural consultancy portfolio, maintain key client relationships, and shape the role over time with exposure to planning, valuation and energy teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in professional and management work.
• Strong client relationship development capabilities.
• Numerate with good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ambition to contribute to a growing rural and estates practice.

Responsibilities

• Day to day professional advice to a mixed portfolio of estate and land-owning clients.
• First point of contact for existing clients, managing relationships and service needs.
• Provide strategic estate and rural advice, drafting and negotiating agreements as required.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities with Partners and other teams.
• Collaborate across planning, valuation, energy, infrastructure, agency and natural capital teams to generate fee opportunities.
• Assist in developing efficient internal processes and best practices.
• Ensure policy compliance and assist with pitches and presentations.
• Work with Carter Jonas divisions on Planning & Development opportunities.
