Job summary

Roedean School in Brighton seeks an experienced Estates Manager to lead the management, maintenance, conservation and development of its diverse estate. You will report to the Director of Finance & Operations and provide strategic leadership across buildings, infrastructure and grounds.

We require a qualified surveyor, estates professional or facilities manager with strong technical, leadership and project management skills to oversee heritage and modern facilities, including boarding

Qualifications

• Experience leading strategic and operational management of a large estate.
• Experience with maintenance, conservation and development of buildings and grounds.
• Ability to lead projects and teams in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic and operational management of a complex estate comprising heritage and modern buildings, boarding accommodation, sports facilities, staff housing and extensive grounds.
• Oversee maintenance, conservation and development activities and ensure a safe, compliant estate.
• Report to the Director of Finance & Operations and provide proactive leadership across buildings, infrastructure and grounds.
