Job summary

SOUTH WESTERN AMBULANCE SERVICE NHS TRUST is seeking an experienced Estates Officer to join the Estates Team. The role involves managing day-to-day operations of Trust buildings, coordinating with contractors, suppliers and planning officers, and delivering minor estates projects.

The successful candidate will have an electrical background and strong skills in contractor management, health and safety, and project management.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Facilities Management or Building Services.
• Electrical background is essential for sites with complex power supplies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Strong attention to detail and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage operational aspects of Trust buildings and sites across the region.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, planning officers and specialist consultants.
• Ensure health and safety compliance across works and projects.
• Lead minor estates schemes and projects with effective planning and delivery.
