Job summary
BP is seeking an Lead ESE / BESS Systems Engineer to lead the portfolio and lifecycle management of Electrical Supply Equipment and Battery Energy Storage Systems. You will drive a standardized, cost-effective hardware configuration strategy to optimize total cost of ownership and support bp pulse charging network expansion.
The role requires fluency in EV charging tech, portfolio and cost-benefit experience, and a track record in cross-functional leadership and complex project delivery within
Qualifications
- Fluency in EV charging technologies and EV charging networks.
- Experience in Portfolio Management.
- Experience in Cost-benefit analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead portfolio management for Electrical Supply Equipment (ESE) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to deliver optimum TCO.
- Lead lifecycle management for ESE: requirements, onboarding, piloting, delivery, maintenance and decommissioning.
- Lead lifecycle management for BESS: requirements, onboarding, piloting, delivery, maintenance and decommissioning.
- Develop ESE technical requirements with regional engineering teams and the Customer team.
- Develop ESE remote control and monitoring requirements with the operations team and the hardware team.
- Define and track KPIs to measure success and cost-effectiveness.
