Job summary

Standard Bank Offshore is seeking an experienced Employee Relations, Risk and Benefits Manager to lead ER strategy and oversee employee benefits across SBO. You will partner with the Country Head of People and Culture to ensure compliant, effective people practices in multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires strong negotiation, policy development, and governance skills, with a track record in unionised environments and risk governance within a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Legal studies or CIPD Level 5.
• Conciliation/arbitration qualification is a plus.
• 5–7 years in People and Culture within People Risk and Benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the Country Head of People and Culture on Employee Relations.
• Oversee ER matters, ensure compliance with labour laws, basic conditions of employment, and union requirements.
• Administer and govern employee benefits across Standard Bank Offshore; support risk governance and policy development.
