Microtech Global Ltd. is seeking a Senior Equipment Engineer to lead PM activities on semiconductor processing equipment at our Northampton site. The role involves maintaining equipment, managing chemicals and spares, and mentoring technicians and junior engineers.

You will liaise with suppliers, drive preventive maintenance strategies, and deliver monthly performance reports while ensuring safety and environmental compliance across the team.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Ability to document procedures, risk assessments and work instructions.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Office; able to manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Repair and PMs of specialist semiconductor processing equipment.
• Oversee chemical, gases and spare parts control; waste management.
• Mentor equipment technicians and junior engineers.
• Liaise with suppliers and service providers; supervise external contractors.
• Develop PM strategies to maximise uptime and OEE.
• Monitor progress of improvement projects and report monthly.
• Work with supply chain to manage stock levels and critical spares.
• Ensure site safety and environmental procedures are followed.
• Provide shift cover as required.
