Job summary

Beautiful Recruitment is seeking a Senior Epitaxy Equipment Engineer to join our Northamptonshire team. You will provide technical and engineering support to Epitaxy Engineers and Technicians, contributing to continuous improvement, production support, and fault-finding on MOVPE/MOCVD equipment.

The role requires hands-on experience with vacuum systems, high/low voltage work, gas handling, SCBA (training provided), and the ability to coordinate with manufacturing, facilities and external

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background with hands-on experience in wafer fab or epitaxy environments.
• Experience with MOVPE/MOCVD and vacuum systems in a fast-paced semiconductor setting.
• Familiarity with hazardous process gases and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance planning and coordination with Manufacturing and Process teams.
• Provide technical input to new tool procurement, commissioning and release to process.
• Develop and deliver preventative maintenance strategies to maximise equipment utilisation and uptime.
