Job summary

GE Vernova Grid Solutions seeks an experienced Project Manager to deliver large-scale EPC projects across the UK, including onshore and offshore environments. You will own complex transmission infrastructure programs or co-run them with a Director, guiding design through construction, commissioning, and handover while meeting safety, cost, and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
• Proven experience managing EPC or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Experience in multi-disciplinary and international environments
• Familiarity with NEC standards
• Strong commercial and financial awareness
• Valid passport & driver's license

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Delivery: take full accountability for EPC projects to specification, budget, and schedule.
• Leadership & Team Coordination: lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, Finance, EHS, Quality, and Contracts.
• Stakeholder Management: build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
• Financial & Commercial Oversight: manage project budgets and ensure cost control and resource utilisation.
• Risk & Issue Management: identify, assess, and mitigate risks; manage claims and root cause analysis.
• Planning & Execution: define, schedule, and deliver activities to milestones and contracts.
• EHS Leadership: champion safety culture and regulatory compliance.
• Quality Leadership & Assurance: embed quality requirements and drive continuous improvement.
• Tender & Delivery Support: review delivery models, commitments, risks, and opportunities.
