Job summary

Altera Recruitment Group is supporting a global renewable energy and resource recovery business in the appointment of a permanent Procurement Manager to lead procurement, logistics and contract administration on a major EPC project in the Bristol Area, with travel to suppliers and project sites across the UK.

The role would suit a Procurement Manager or senior buyer from EPC, construction, infrastructure, energy, utilities or industrial projects who is comfortable owning complex packages,

Qualifications

• Significant procurement or contract management experience on major EPC projects.
• Experience with NEC4 or JCT contracts and change control.
• Ability to read technical specifications and manage supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement from requisition to close-out for the project.
• Develop procurement plans and schedules aligned to budget.
• Conduct RFQs/Tenders and negotiate with suppliers.
• Manage expediting, transport, and logistics to site.
• Maintain procurement registers and report on risks.
