Job summary

Altera Recruitment Group is forging ahead with a permanent Engineering Manager role for a site-based project in the Bristol Area. You will lead the project engineering team across all disciplines, setting execution plans and budgets, and ensuring safety compliance.

The position suits a senior EPC/renewables engineer with a track record of £50m+ projects and leadership of multidisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include design from concept through handover, coordinating multiple disciplines,

Qualifications

• Senior engineering leadership on EPC, industrial, energy or renewables projects.
• Experience delivering large EPC projects valued at £50m+.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015, British Standards, Eurocodes and UK permitting frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead all engineering on the project from concept to handover.
• Direct civil, structural, mechanical, process, electrical, instrumentation and controls disciplines.
• Set the engineering execution plan, design programme, resource plan and budget.
• Review calculations, specifications, drawings and design packages; lead design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP.
• Write technical specifications and requisitions for long lead equipment; evaluate vendor bids.
• Resolve technical issues on site; approve design changes and site instructions.
• Champion Design for Safety and compliance with CDM 2015 and related regs.
