Mott MacDonald Bentley are seeking an Environmental Specialist to join our environment team across the UK. You will identify environmental risks, coordinate inputs from heritage, ecology and more, and deliver environmental plans and liaise with regulators to ensure compliance and successful project outcomes.

The role involves developing sustainability initiatives and engaging with clients while supporting development and chartership within the business.

• Identify environmental risks across the project lifecycle from solution definition to completion.
• Develop risk mitigation measures considering cost, time, compliance, safety and social impacts.
• Coordinate inputs from heritage, archaeology, ecology, geomorphology to ensure tasks are completed on time and to required standards.
• Produce environmental deliverables at milestones such as EIA screening assessments and environmental management plans.
• Lead liaison with environmental regulators and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Engage with clients regarding environmental and consenting matters and build relationships to enhance our reputation.
• Demonstrate broad understanding of environmental disciplines and project risks with deeper expertise in at least one area.
• Coordinate management of environmental aspects through planning, organisation and communication for successful outcomes.
• Solve problems methodically and drive project delivery with a proactive, pragmatic mindset.
• Deliver results within short timeframes and prioritise tasks and time management.

Responsabilidades

• Positively engage with clients on environmental and consenting matters, developing relationships and enhancing our reputation.
