Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking an Environmental Specialist to join our environment team supporting major water and wastewater schemes across the UK. You will identify environmental risks, mitigate them with project teams, and coordinate inputs from ecology, archaeology and other disciplines to deliver compliant outcomes.

You will liaise with regulators and clients, develop environmental deliverables, and help implement strategies across feasibility to construction phases.

Qualifications

• Identify environmental risks throughout the project lifecycle and mitigate with cost, time, safety and social considerations.
• Lead liaison with regulators and communicate with team members and stakeholders.
• Coordinate inputs from ecology, archaeology, drainage, geomorphology and other disciplines to meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce environmental deliverables at project milestones (eIA screening, environmental management plans).
• Engage with clients on environmental and consenting matters and build relationships.
• Plan, organise and manage environmental aspects to deliver successful project outcomes.
