Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Scotland based Principal/Associate Technical Director to lead environmental planning and consenting for major projects. You will drive EIA-related work across energy, infrastructure, rail and water schemes with a pragmatic, collaborative approach.

In this role you will win work, develop new business, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver optimal environmental outcomes in the UK and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental planning and EIA processes.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and delivery of planning/environmental work using UK planning law.
• Drive business development and deliver project opportunities.
• Raise awareness of Arcadis services and win new opportunities.
• Engage with key client relationships and cross-sell services.
• Engage with consultees and stakeholders effectively.
• Manage projects with focus on technical, quality, commercial and HSE performance.
• Collaborate with Arcadis colleagues across the Global Business.
