Job summary

Lucion Delta-Simons is seeking an experienced Principal/Associate Environmental Due Diligence Consultant to lead high-quality environmental due diligence for property, corporate and investment transactions. You will work with investors, developers, lenders and advisers, mentoring junior staff and growing the service line.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental science or related discipline.
• Significant experience in environmental due diligence and Phase 1 assessments.
• Strong report-writing and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of UK environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental due diligence projects for property, corporate and investment transactions.
• Undertake Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments and due diligence reports.
• Identify environmental liabilities, risks and opportunities in transactions.
• Review historical land use, regulatory records and planning information.
• Provide clear, commercially focused advice to clients on risks and investment implications.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, deliverables and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior and mid-level consultants.
• Develop proposals, tenders and fee estimates.
• Grow client relationships and contribute to service-line growth.
