As a Senior Environmental Consultant, you'll take ownership of client projects, manage multiple contracts, and deliver practical environmental advice.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental consultancy or environmental management.
• Good knowledge of UK environmental legislation and practical application.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects or contracts.
• Experience working directly with clients and developing long-term relationships.
• Strong technical, communication and report-writing skills.
• Commercial awareness and experience contributing to quotes, proposals or business development.
• Working towards Practitioner membership of ISEP (formerly IEMA) or another professional body.
• An ISO 14001 Lead Auditor qualification would be desirable but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver environmental consultancy and advisory services across a range of client requirements.
• Interpret and apply complex environmental legislation, translating regulatory requirements into practical solutions.
• Manage multiple projects and contracts, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
• Act as a key contact for clients, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities for repeat business.
• Prepare technical reports, project briefs, quotations and other client deliverables.
• Communicate technical information clearly and confidently to a range of stakeholders.
• Respond promptly to client needs and contribute positively to the overall client experience.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities, converting quoted work and contributing to individual and team targets.
• Maintain accurate project forecasting, utilisation and order book information.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive team culture.
