Senior Environmental Advisor

Warwickshire, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Environmental and Sustainability Manager, the Senior Environmental Advisor will play a key role in implementing the Telent Sustainability Strategy, supporting Business Units to meet waste and carbon reduction objectives, customer expectations, ISO14001, and legal requirements across our Rail and Asset Management divisions. This role involves up to 50% UK-wide travel.

What you’ll do:

1. Provide specialist advice to EHS teams and Project leads on environment and sustainability requirements.
2. Support risk management through environmental assurance regimes and audits.
3. Assist in preparing sustainability and carbon reduction plans for contracts and bids.
4. Maintain performance data and generate carbon management reports.
5. Review environmental impacts and evaluate climate change risks within Business Units.
6. Support project teams to embed sustainable and carbon reduction practices throughout the Project Life Cycle.

Who you are:

Experienced in a similar Environmental & Sustainability role within industries such as Rail, Telecoms, Utilities, or Construction.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification - PIEMA
• ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor
• Experience providing technical sustainability and environmental advice.
• Proven track record of reducing environmental impacts of equipment and infrastructure.
• Experience managing complex projects and change initiatives.
• Full driving license and flexibility for UK-wide travel.
