Senior Environmental Advisor

Location: Warwickshire, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Environmental and Sustainability Manager, the Environmental and Sustainability Specialist (Senior Environmental Advisor) will play a key role in implementing Telent's Sustainability Strategy and supporting Business Units to meet waste and carbon reduction objectives, customer expectations, ISO14001, and legal requirements across our Rail and Asset Management divisions. This is an agile role with up to 50% UK-wide travel.

What you’ll do:

1. Provide specialist advice to EHS teams and Project leads for environment and sustainability to meet requirements.
2. Support risk management through environmental assurance regimes, audits, and inspections.
3. Assist in preparing sustainability and carbon reduction plans for contracts and bids.
4. Maintain performance data and generate carbon management reports.
5. Review environmental aspects and impacts, including climate change risks.
6. Support sustainable practices throughout the Project Life Cycle.

Who you are:

Experience in a similar role within industries like Rail, Telecoms, Utilities, or Construction.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: PIEMA
• ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor
• Experience in technical sustainability and environmental advice
• Proven ability to reduce environmental impacts of infrastructure
• Experience managing complex projects
• Full driving license and willingness to travel UK-wide
