Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking an Environmental Manager to join our HSE team on the construction projects across the UK. You will ensure compliance with UK regulations, manage the Environmental Management System, and lead audits and RAMS reviews.

Qualifications

• UK regulatory framework experience
• ISO 14001 requirements (auditor experience preferred)
• Sustainable development principles
• Management of Environmental Management Systems
• Practical experience in Environmental Management in Construction (>3 years)
• Diploma in Environmental Management (or equivalent)
• Right to work in the UK required

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement EMS requirements across the project.
• Conduct audits against ISO 14001 standards.
• Carry out Environmental Risk Assessments for the scope of works.
• Report environmental incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Provide training on emergency preparedness and environmental awareness.
• Review RAMS and TRAMs for activities.
• Support BYLOR team and subcontractors.
• Liaise with Client environment teams and attend meetings.
• Mentor Environmental Team members.
