Job summary

Ema is seeking an experienced Enterprise Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications in our UK-based team, while collaborating with global product managers, designers, and developers. You will shape end-to-end solutions, leverage Go and Python across the stack, and build scalable APIs and data pipelines for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

7+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise settings.
Proficient in Python and Go with strong data structures.
Experience building API platforms and cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain enterprise software applications, including API, data, application, and service development.
Write clean, efficient code using test-driven development.
Build scalable back-end systems with Go and Python.
Develop and maintain APIs using REST, gRPC or GraphQL.
Integrate multiple enterprise apps with a scalable framework like FastAPI.
Design data schemas using PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases.
Work with front-end interfaces using HTML/CSS/JS (React/Angular).
Ensure security and industry best practices in applications.
