Job summary

EY seeks a Forward Deployed AI Developer to join our UK teams, building AI agents, automation tools and enterprise integrations. You will design, implement and test AI solutions across cloud platforms, Power Platform and APIs while working with cross-functional colleagues.

You'll contribute to the full delivery lifecycle from design to production, develop cloud-native skills on Azure/AWS, and stay current with AI advances to deliver impactful business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/Data Science or related field.
• Proven AI developer experience with a portfolio of projects.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of Git and version control.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms and software design.
• Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy and SQL.
• Experience with Power Platform tools or willingness to develop.
• Basic cloud computing and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS understanding.

Responsibilities

• Help design and develop AI agents and automation tools to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into specs.
• Build and orchestrate LLM agents, including prompts and retrieval.
• Test and evaluate agent behaviour and non-deterministic outputs.
• Build and configure solutions across the Power Platform (Power Apps/Automate/Pages/Dataverse).
• Integrate AI tools with enterprise systems via Graph, REST, SQL, SharePoint APIs.
• Develop cloud-native skills on Azure and AWS and understand AI services.
• Manage projects through the full delivery lifecycle from design to production.
• Support live products and triage defects with real users.
• Adhere to enterprise guardrails: AI risk assessments, security reviews, and DLP.
• Conduct data analysis to support AI solution development and evaluation.
• Stay up to date with AI advancements and apply them to projects.
• Document code and processes for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
