Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a senior enterprise risk leader to oversee risk management across business areas, coordinate SOC 1 and ICARA programs, and drive continuous improvement. You will partner with senior associates globally and guide a team of risk professionals while aligning with our core values.

The role emphasizes proactive risk assessment, governance, and strategic partnership to protect clients and capital. A strong track record in financial services risk is preferred.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of risk management practices and their application to financial services.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including with senior leaders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams (global in scope).
• Experience driving results with diverse teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong conflict resolution, influencing and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise risk discussions with senior management to identify key risks and controls.
• Lead the SOC 1 audit program coordination with business areas and external auditors.
• Drive ICARA processes and ensure end-to-end capital adequacy reviews and approvals.
• Develop and lead high-performing risk management teams and ensure alignment with CG core values.
• Provide expert risk management guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
