Job summary

Digital Waffle is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a large enterprise environment with a strong focus on Cisco networking and Microsoft infrastructure. You will support and improve the enterprise network, provide 3rd line escalation, and lead technical projects across server migrations, VMware upgrades and platform refreshes.

The role requires hands-on Cisco Routing & Switching, MPLS, VRF, CCNA/CCNP level knowledge, plus expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' commercial experience supporting enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on Cisco networking experience (Routing & Switching, MPLS, VRF).
• CCNA and/or CCNP level networking knowledge (certification or equivalent).
• Strong Microsoft technologies experience (Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, 365).
• VMware administration and ITIL environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain enterprise Cisco network infrastructure.
• Lead third-line support and major network projects.
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP and 365 services.
• Administer VMware virtual infrastructure and storage solutions.
• Create technical documentation and follow ITIL best practices.
• Contribute to server migrations, upgrades and platform improvements.
• Provide senior escalation point for networking and infrastructure issues.
