Job summary

Digital Waffle is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and upgrade a large enterprise network with a Cisco-first focus. You will work across BAU and projects, supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and VMware environments.

The role requires 5+ years of commercial experience, CCNA/CCNP level knowledge, ITIL practices, and PowerShell scripting. The team offers a competitive salary up to £60,000 with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' commercial experience supporting enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on Cisco networking experience (Routing & Switching, MPLS, VRF) and CCNA/CCNP knowledge.
• Strong Microsoft technologies experience (Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365).
• VMware administration experience and PowerShell scripting/automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, support and maintain enterprise Cisco network infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, MPLS and VRF technologies.
• Administer Microsoft Windows Server environments including AD, DNS/DHCP and Group Policy; manage Microsoft 365.
• Administer VMware virtual infrastructure and support server migrations.
• Lead 3rd line support, projects and act as senior escalation point for networking and infrastructure issues.
• Produce technical documentation and follow ITIL best practices.
