Visa is seeking a Staff Network Engineer to provide technical direction and governance for enterprise WAN, LAN, wireless, and secure-connectivity across the corporate network. You will shape architecture, standards, and roadmaps while mentoring teams and overseeing complex initiatives.

As a senior IC, you will own design reviews, ensure security and observability, coordinate with security, operations, and vendors, and drive improvements in reliability, scalability, and automation.

Qualifications

• Senior individual contributor with oversight of enterprise-scale network initiatives.
• Experience guiding architecture, engineering standards and roadmaps.
• Ability to provide end-to-end technical oversight across multiple teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead enterprise WAN, LAN, wireless and remote-access design from requirements to implementation.
• Influence network architecture principles, reference patterns, standards, and reusable practices.
• Produce and govern high-level and low-level network designs, decision records, and implementation strategies.
• Lead design reviews ensuring reliability, scalability, security, observability, and lifecycle requirements.
• Assess network performance, capacity and technical debt; propose long-term improvements.
• Provide technical oversight for design validation, testing, rollout readiness, and handoff.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex cross-domain incidents and incident response.
• Coordinate with vendors, security, operations, and project teams on engineering actions.
