Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a quota-carrying sales specialist in the UK & Ireland to drive migration and modernization deals across the full AWS platform. You will engage CXO level, translate business pain into migration-led value, and build pipeline by leveraging AWS services for large-scale transformations.

You will work with Solutions Architects, Partner teams and GSI relationships to close complex deals, travel to customer sites as needed, and own regional revenue targets while

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or sales management of infrastructure or cloud technology.
• Experience in management of large, complex enterprise accounts or equivalent.
• Experience in large-scale deal negotiations with a successful track record.
• Experience in virtualization environments based on Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM, and VMware products.

Responsibilities

• Deeply understand customer objectives, industry dynamics, and competitive pressures to identify high-impact migration and modernization outcomes.
• Generate and manage pipeline for AWS migrations and modernisations within defined verticals in the UK and Ireland.
• Identify, qualify and close M&M deals from large, priority customers and targets in your verticals.
• Design and execute campaigns, create new routes to market, and identify untapped customer segments to expand opportunities.
• Develop executive-level narratives linking migration, data modernization, and AI deployment to customer value.
• Build and deliver commercial propositions anchored to customer-defined success metrics.
• Own revenue targets across the transformation lifecycle with cross-functional collaboration.
