Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Delivery Consultant for AWS Professional Services in the United Kingdom.

You will design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customers’ technical requirements and business objectives, guiding them through their cloud journey with best practices and risk management. You will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions, gather requirements with stakeholders, and lead migrations, while staying current with industry trends and enabling customer success

Qualifications

Experience as technical specialist in design and architecture.
Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent).
Experience in external or internal customer-facing, complex and large-scale project management.
Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments.
Migration strategy development and planning (6R framework).
Cloud Infrastructure Assessment (CIA) methodology.
Mainframe migration and modernization techniques.
Application discovery and dependency mapping.
Migration tooling (Application Migration Service, Database Migration Service, Migration Hub).
Cutover planning and execution.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
