Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect - IT/OT for a 6-month contract based in Glasgow or Aberdeen with 1-2 days onsite. The role requires leading architecture across IT and OT, ensuring governance, and providing assurance across major programmes within the electricity/energy sector.

The candidate should have extensive EA and Solution Architecture experience, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to challenge senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior-level Enterprise Architecture experience.
• Significant experience in Solution Architecture.
• Experience with OT and IT/OT architectures.
• Broad technical knowledge across modern tech landscapes.
• Experience providing architecture assurance and governance.
• Experience engaging with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of architecture principles, standards, and roadmaps.
• Experience in large, complex organisations.
• Experience in asset-intensive environments.
• Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and suppliers credibly.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior Enterprise Architecture expertise across the Transmission portfolio.
• Work with Architecture Lead to shape and maintain the architectural direction.
• Develop strategies, target architectures, roadmaps and capability models.
• Provide architectural assurance across major projects, programmes and BAU.
• Review and challenge Solution Architecture from project teams and suppliers.
• Ensure solutions align with architectural principles and governance.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand business requirements and implications.
• Provide senior guidance on complex initiatives.
• Apply architecture input across IT and OT environments.
• Work with Group Architecture to align with governance and standards.
• Apply substantial Solution Architecture input when reviewing complex solutions.
