What we do
  1. Help the world become more resilient to physical climate risks (floods, fires, storms, etc.), supporting UN SDGs.
  2. Build peer-reviewed science using climate projections and remote sensing data, translating it into financial impacts for clients in finance to manage risks.
  3. Serve major clients including banks, asset managers, and insurers like CBRE, Standard Chartered, Virgin Money, and Federated Hermes, managing over $6.5 trillion in assets, with partners like Deloitte, Capgemini, and AWS.
  4. Offer ecosystem products that solve real problems and deliver business benefits, driven by our customer-centric approach and innovation pace.
The impact you’ll own

As our first Strategic Enterprise Account Executive, you will drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies for clients in financial services and real estate sectors, focusing on risk and sustainable finance. You will manage the full sales cycle, nurture client relationships, and represent Climate X at industry events. Your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering demos of our climate risk platform, articulating its value and features.
  • Collaborating with sales, marketing, product, and scientific teams to craft presentations and negotiate deals aligned with company goals.
  • Building industry knowledge, maintaining key client relationships, and expanding our market presence.
Minimum Requirements
  • Proven success in enterprise B2B sales, managing complex sales cycles and meeting quotas (ARR targets).
  • Experience selling complex products to financial services clients.
  • Excellent relationship management, customer focus, and consultative sales skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret climate data and models for diverse audiences.
  • Training in MEDDPICC Sales and/or Challenger methodology.
  • Understanding of physical risks, stress testing, and risk functions in banking or real estate.
  • Passion for climate change and its economic impacts.
  • Experience in fast-paced SaaS or tech startups.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot.
  • Knowledge of climate modeling and analytics.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
